Last Year’s Result (2026) — What to Expect
In 2026, nearly 1 million students appeared in the PECTAA 8th class exam. The overall pass rate was 88% — 92% for girls and 83% for boys. It was also Punjab’s first AI-marked assessment. A similar pattern is expected in 2027.

As all students know, the 8th class exams are conducted by PECTAA in only four subjects, which include Science, Math, English, and Urdu.

The SMS method is the best backup on result day, because last year the official portal slowed down due to heavy traffic right after the result was announced. Standard SMS charges apply, and it works on all networks — Jazz, Zong, Telenor, and Ufone. If, for any reason you do not have internet access, then check your board number from the list given below, create an SMS on that number, type your roll number in the body, and send it.
Within a few minutes, you will receive an SMS in which your name and your obtained marks will be mentioned.
